Understanding Illumination Effect on Saturation Behavior of Thin Film Transistor

Thin film transistor (TFT) has been a key device for planal drive display technology, and operating the TFT in saturation regime is particularly important driving light emission at stable current. Considering reaches planal, it thereby meaningful to understand effect of illumination on behavior order improve stability emission. Through experiments simulations, our study shows that drift current photogenerated carriers can follow when channel conductance dominated by charges induced gate bias rather than generated photons, vice versa. The obtained physics insights are beneficial developing technologies
